Sam

Sam has been working with animals since 2006. She has worked and/or volunteered in animal shelters, companion animal and emergency veterinary clinics, farm animal sanctuaries and a wildlife rehabilitation center. Before becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician, she graduated from Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2017, she graduated from Maritime Business College's Veterinary Technology program.

Sam enjoys parasitology and entomology (the study of all things creepy and crawly!) She also enjoys client education and making an animal's visit as low-stress as possible!

In her free time, Sam enjoys board games, roller derby, crafting, traveling around the province and practicing agility with her rescue Yorkie named Terry.
