We all know that, unfortunately, our furry companions don’t live as long as we do, so when they get older, we must do everything we can to allow them to enjoy life as long as they can! It can include more frequent exams, bloodwork, diet changes, medications and supplements.

What age is considered senior?

Dogs and cats are generally considered to be a senior at 7 years old. It varies a bit depending on breed and size.

What are some common health problems for senior pets?

Senior pets commonly deal with kidney disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, and mobility issues.
