Ultrasound and X-ray

We offer full-body x-rays, as well as dental X-rays and abdominal ultrasounds at our clinic. Our digital X-ray machine provides immediate images for interpretation by our veterinarians. Ultrasounds are performed in hospital; the information is sent to a referring veterinarian who interprets them and sends back the results, usually within 24 hours.

How do you use X-ray services at your hospital?

We use X-rays to view internal structures we are unable to examine otherwise and to view tooth roots below the gum to help determine if the tooth is healthy during dental procedures. X-rays can help us diagnose a number of issues, such as fractures, foreign body ingestions, or even pregnancy. Ultrasounds are used alongside x-rays to view internal structures in more detail, usually to confirm a suspected diagnosis.
